Kim Victoria Cattrall, born July 21, 1956, in London, is a British and Canadian actress. She is most famous for her character Samantha Jones on the HBO show Sex and the City. In this role, she was awarded the Golden Globe Award for 2002 for the Best Supporting Female actor. She reprised her role as the lead on The Sex and the City (2008 and Sex and the City 2) (2010) films. In the 1980s, she played leading roles as a Police Academy Big Trouble Little China Mannequin and Porky's. Kim Cattrall will be remembered for her portrayal of Samantha Jones in the HBO sitcom Sex & the City. Cattrall, a noted actor, has acknowledged her role as Samantha Jones as a career-defining role. The show not only increased her popularity amongst the national public, but also made her an international star giving the actress a lot of fame and respect. Anita Ekberg...................Anita Ekberg was a Swedish actress who appeared in several European as well as American films. Most well-known is her performance in the drama comedy film La Dolce Vita. The film won an Oscar and the Golden Palm at the Cannes Film Festival in 1960 and was also a commercial as well as critically acclaimed success. Born in Sweden, Skane was a model before beginning her acting profession. She went on to win the Miss Sweden contest. After she left Sweden for the US and appeared in numerous films as a small part before her professional career took off. Her first film credit was in the role of Venusian in Abbott and Costello Go to Mars. Her first credit role was in Abbott and Co. Go to Mars where she was a guard from Venus.
